When anxiety, brain fog, constipation, and sleep show up together

When your child is struggling with sleep, focus, digestion, or energy — and nothing seems to fully explain why — you’re not missing something obvious. These challenges can reflect patterns beneath the surface. Kite helps you explore those patterns through a clearer picture of your child’s biology.

You’ll finally have a starting point — a biological snapshot of your child, a plan built around your family, and a way to track changes over time.

Start with an easy-to-do test at home

Kite is designed to support your family over time—starting with a metabolic test that helps determine a clear action plan. A simple urine test that looks at your child’s body signals — how they make energy, process food, and interact with gut bacteria. This metabolic urine test is often the best first step because it gives a broad, whole-body view of what may be behind everyday symptoms.

Easy to do at home and non-invasive
One test → multiple systems
Clear starting point for action

Kite helps you connect the dots, see patterns, prioritize what matters most, and move forward with a clear, step-by-step roadmap.

Measure signals that connect gut, metabolism, and brain-related symptoms

Kite focuses on pediatric metabolic biomarkers—the small molecules produced when the body processes food, nutrients, and microbes.

These metabolites can reveal signals related to:

Nutrient utilization

Gut microbiome activity

Mitochondrial energy

Neurotransmitter
function

Oxidative
stress

Data is only helpful when it becomes a clear, doable plan. Kite translates results into:

1

Top priorities

a summary of what matters most right now

2

Connected insights

how body signals link to everyday symptoms

3

Real-life action plan

adapted for picky eating, sensory needs, and your family’s lifestyle

4

A guided roadmap

start with foundations, move into targeted support, and track progress over time

Children’s biology is complex, and change should be addressed step by step. Kite provides a clear roadmap, helping you know where to start and build meaningful progress over time.

Track progress over time—so you’re not stuck guessing

For neurodiverse families, progress isn’t linear—and small shifts can have big effects.

Kite creates a feedback loop that helps you track changes across sleep, digestion, mood, and attention—through real-life moments like illness, antibiotics, school, travel, or therapy transitions.

When you re-test, you’ll see what changed, so decisions feel more grounded and less like guessing.

Kite membership includes:

A plan built around your family’s real routines — picky eating, sensory needs, the schedule you already have — and a second test to see what’s changed.

FAQ

Is this a diagnostic test for autism, ADHD or any other neurodiverse condition?

No. Autism and ADHD are clinical diagnoses. Kite provides wellness insights to help families and practitioners understand gut-brain-metabolic patterns.

Does this test identify the root causes of my child’s health issues?

No one test can address all root issues. While our urine test focuses on metabolic answers, it also helps identify when additional testing may be useful, such as stool tests to assess microbiome composition, blood tests to evaluate nutrients and inflammation, hormone panels to understand stress patterns, and genetic testing for deeper insights.

How is this different from a microbiome test?

Microbiome tests focus on which microbes are present. Kite looks at what those microbes are actually doing—by measuring metabolites and metabolic activity—so results are easier to act on and track over time.

My child is sensory-sensitive or a picky eater—can we still do this?

Yes. The kit and guidance are designed for neurodiverse families and “real life,” not perfection. By completing the diet and lifestyle questionnaires, Kite can learn about your family’s lifestyle and build those into your action plans.
