About the study

Kite Health is launching a simple but pioneering sample collection study to gather urine samples from children aged 0–17, paired with basic lifestyle and developmental information. We're studying how metabolism, nutrition, gut microbiome activity, and cellular energy differ among children with autism, other neurodevelopmental conditions and their siblings.

This study is the first step toward developing and validating a metabolomic panel that has been successful for children with autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions.

This study involves 2 hours of participation split into two days and there is no cost to participate.

About Kite Health

Kite Health is on a mission to bring clarity and action to families navigating autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions by transforming the science of metabolomics into accessible, child-specific insights. Today, most lab tests are built for adults and overlook the unique biology of children in their developmental years—leaving families without reliable, actionable information. That’s why we are sponsoring this pediatric sample collection study with children reference ranges.

Combining high-resolution analytics with real-world family participation, we aim to understand the differences between typical kids and kids with autism, ADHD and other neurodevelopmental disorders.

Your participation is entirely voluntary and you have the right to withdraw your consent or discontinue participation at any time.

We are happy to answer your questions.
